Meet Managing Partner Ximena Castellanos

Ximena Castellanos (She/Her) has been the Managing Partner of CASTELLANOS for the last 30 years; with 25 years old, she took the firm’s direction in 1992. With decades of experience in Intellectual Property Law, Ximena brings international expertise in trademarks, copyrights, patents, and unfair competition that you won’t find elsewhere in Colombia.

She oversees all trademark matters the firm handles and is devoted to all clients, regardless of where they’re located, in obtaining, enforcing, and protecting their intellectual property rights. Ximena’s prime directive is to be responsive, helpful, and effective for all clients of CASTELLANOS.

Ximena is your bridge to cross the border into Colombia and receive an unmatched service level. She is tri-lingual, speaking English, French, and Spanish fluently.

Outside work, she takes pride in being a part of her two daughters’ lives. Valeria and Victoria are both in university now. When she’s not spending time with her family or the firm, you can find her in the pool, on the hiking trail, or with her nose in a book.
